Thank you for your interest in our school, Discovery Mind.

We are an International school in Hong Kong that has been educating children for 20 years. We provide a through train education from 15 months to 11 years old and are now serving 700 pupils with over 30 nationalities.  We offer exciting learning experiences in our play centres, kindergartens and primary levels at five different campuses in Discovery Bay and Tung Chung, Hong Kong.

To enroll in our school or request a school tour, please contact the appropriate campus directly.

Interested parents please call the Admission Officer to arrange an appointment for a guided tour of the school premises and / or an information package.

Parents should complete the application form and return it to the school enclosing the following documents:

  • 2 passport-sized photos
  • Birth certificate copy
  • Immunisation record copy
  • Parents' identity card copies / passport copies
  • HK$50 one-time application fee (Please make cheque payable to "Discovery Mind (Tung Chung)" . Cash is not accepted and the fee is non-refundable)

The school will acknowledge receipt of the application as well as the application fee and, subject to all details being completed, arrange an interview date or place the student on the waiting list.

The current admissions policy for either the International or Bilingual Kindergarten gives priority to applicants as follows:

  • Staff of Discovery Mind
  • Existing Play Centre students (by date of admission into Discovery Mind)
  • Sibling currently attending Discovery Mind
  • New student

An interview will be arranged according to the intended entry date. if a child is offered a place, subject to availability, an acceptance letter will be sent to the parent.

A general condition for enrolment:

International Kindergarten / Bilingual Kindergarten

All children entering K1 must be 3 years old by December 31.

The school reserves the right to make the final decision as to which session (AM / PM or A / B class) your child will be admitted to.

The school (with the recommendation of the teaching staff) reserves the right to make the final decisions for all internal transfers, or combining of classes when the situation calls for such a decision.
